“The people of Kansas spoke this past summer and made their position clear and that ​should be respected. I am one of many pro-life Kansans who have never advocated for ​a complete ban on abortion. I support exceptions to accommodate heartbreaking and ​difficult situations such as rape, incest, the life of the mother, and abnormalities that ​make life outside of the womb impossible. As a legislator, I will continue to support ​and work to defend the common sense laws in place today and find consensus.”
