“The Kansas Supreme Court has found a constitutional right to bodily autonomy. The Voters of Kansas overwhelmingly affirmed this decision in August 2022. The Legislature should be listening to the will of voters across this state. Recent state Supreme Court decisions have found that some restrictions the Legislature passed (with my vehement opposition) are also unconstitutional. Women and their families, with advice from health care professionals, are best positioned to make these decisions.
