“I do not support any new restrictions on abortion laws in any way governing the procedure. The people spoke loud and clear. I think most Kansans do not want to see the legislature continuing to consider other bills that would somehow erode or modify existing Kansas law. I think the people spoke loud and clear, and I think they said that the law as it is right now is probably in line with most Kansans. I would agree with that. I would also say the district we're in spoke very loudly, and I would go to Topeka to represent the owners and citizens of our district.”
