Dr. Betsy Wickstrom and Ginny Krumme discuss the launch of Choice Tracker in Kansas, the importance of State Legislators, as well as our fact-based approach to voter education
Ginny: ...how many states are even involved with Choice Tracker at this point?
Betsy: We are the 10th state involved with Choice Tracker, a national, nonprofit organization that helps everyone know: How does my candidate, how did my representative vote? What are their views? How do they align with mine?
We’re joining: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. We're in good company.
Ginny: We sure are. And, one final thing about Choice Tracker because we want you all to look at it. On the bottom, you will see choicetracker.org, you can check it out yourself.
But in this age of misinformation, and misleading voters to think one way or another, I know for a fact, because as the State Director of the Kansas side of this, we looked at facts. We looked at how the people voted.
And if they’re not current elected officials, if they’re candidates, we see their words straight out of their mouth. Not what anybody else says, but what they have said in recorded interviews, newspaper articles, whatever. So this is fact based, and it’s refreshing to see.
