“Today, on the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Texans feel the impact of the Dobbs decision more than ever. Stripped of the right to choose, to privacy, and to bodily autonomy, we remember what was lost and reinforce our commitment to fight for reproductive freedom. #txlege”

“Ohio voters affirmed that abortion care is an essential aspect of healthcare. Meanwhile in Texas, despite my proposing a similar constitutional amendment last session, it was dismissed without even a hearing. Progress awaits. #txlege”

“I carried 3 babies to term. I went to my doctor for healthcare & advice. I never asked my elected officials what they thought, b/c I don’t care what electeds think about my personal health decisions. Unfortunately, electeds are now making decisions that are life-threatening.”

“The intent is to allow employers to provide a benefit for women who need reproductive care that is not provided in Texas, by providing the funds to travel out of state without repercussion. In a free market system, that should be the right of an employer to do so.”

“TX leaders went too far w/their priorities this year. Taking away women's reproductive freedom, allowing permitless carry, partisan gerrymandering, keeping $1 billion surplus @ TEA from going to schools, not fixing the grid. Today's about needing new leadership. #WomensMarch2021”

“I believe every Texan deserves access to the full range of reproductive healthcare, including abortion. These decisions are best made between a woman and her physician—not by the legislature—and I will continue to advocate for that. I'm honored to be endorsed by @naraltx!”

I trust doctors to determine what medical procedures are essential. The Am Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology states that abortion is an essential, time-sensitive procedure that cannot be delayed. Delaying this care can "profoundly impact a person's life, health, and well-being."
