I am 100% pro-life. I voted to pass the "trigger ban" which outlawed all abortion in Texas as soon as Roe v. Wade was overturned. This past session, I worked to expand healthcare coverage for needy families in the state of Texas, ensuring that mothers and babies will have health insurance through the critical first year of a child's life. I was proud to pass SB 4 to defend life in Texas. SB 4 bans unsafe "mail order" abortions and increase the requirements for reporting abortion complications. Texas mothers and their babies deserve better.
