“Q: Should North Carolina change its abortion laws? How? A: The current state law banning abortion after 20 weeks should remain. Q: Please add anything else voters should know about your position on the legality or availability of abortion in North Carolina. A: No government can dictate what you can do with your body, Being pro life, I propose we institute in-utero adoption which would allow the mother to give the baby up for adoption in the womb and the adoptive parents can help with medical and other expenses till the healthy birth. This would allow the mother to know the baby will be taken care of when she makes her difficult decision, giving her more options, instead of trying to legislate beliefs.”
