Recently, the Georgia State Senate passed Senate Bill 308, which establishes the Positive Alternatives for Pregnancy Grant Program for organizations that offer pregnancy support services. It provides authority for the Department of Public Health to award grants assisting non-profit organizations that provide women with pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, prenatal care, birth classes, housing assistance, adoption services and goods including food, car seats, and baby formula.…”
