Let’s meet

Bill Partington

State Representative,
Florida House District 28

Republican

We can't find a statement

For now, let’s assume they plan to follow party lines and vote anti-choice.

We don’t believe abortion rights should be a partisan issue, but if they aren’t talking about it, there’s no reason to think they’ll go against their party.

Take Action

What to do now:

Ask Bill if they will fight for abortion rights:

This legislator's position is unclear, and we must understand where they fall.

How to reach them:
What to say:

Call or email their office to confirm their stance on this issue, and explain how important abortion rights are to you. When you get a response, we’d love to hear it so we can share it here.

  • Introduce yourself, including your relation to the district.
  • Let them know that you are worried about the Supreme Court decision, and you noticed they did not make a statement in response.
  • Tell them why abortion rights are important to you. (If you have a personal story to share, that may be powerful.)
  • Ask them if they will fight to protect the right to an abortion.

The latest from Bill

“Amendment 4, I oppose the way it's written. I can't support it. It's almost a murder at will amendment, the way that it's written. I don't think any one should vote for it, I would urge people not to vote for it. In almost every instance I'm going to vote to protect life. That's the ultimate goal and I think that's a worthy goal of government, to protect life. And so certainly, there are some exceptions, I'm open to discussing those. This amendment doesn't really cover the proper circumstance for those, but life includes the life of the mother (22:38–23:16).”
