“Today is a tough day for anyone who cares about womens rights and bodily autonomy. Two years ago today, a Trump-appointed Supreme Court issued the ruling that overturned Roe vs. Wade and allowed Texas to institute a 6 week ban (which is, in essence, a TOTAL ban) on abortion. Heres whats happened since then: A woman in Houston was forced to give birth to a baby without a brain. A woman in Austin with a non-viable pregnancy was denied an abortion, developed a life-threatening infection, and went into septic shock. A woman in San Antonio faced severe health issues early in pregnancy, but could not terminate. At 28 weeks pregnant, she died.”
