“Great day out knocking doors with volunteers this afternoon. Had a great talk with another IVF dad who's got a 3 month old little one. Took them two cycles, but happy they got to start their family. Another house had grandma babysitting her 2 IVF grand-babies. If my opponent wins, those two homes are a lot quieter. Grabbed a bite to eat and the last cone of the season (?) at Reeser's Soft Ice Cream where I met my new friend Chunk from Bonded By Strength Equine Rescue. Gonna head up and cross the border in a bit to cheer on the West Shore Marching Band tonight at the West Shore Classic. Should be a blast for this former marching band geek.”

“Having been through the IVF process, I have a rather unique insight into the reproductive rights issue. And I can say with great confidence that as much as we might like to think it's possible, we cannot legislate an end to abortion. The only thing that happens is more lives WILL be lost. Like the young woman in Georgia who just passed away leaving behind a 6 year old son to be raised by his grandmother. I don't want that for the women I know and love.
