“The decision of the supreme court to overturning of Roe v. Wade and undo fifty years of settled law is an outrage. It has set women back to a dark time when we had almost no rights as individuals! We will not go quietly back to the dark ages! A women's right to choose what happens to her body is fundamental to equality. Everyone has the right to bodily autonomy and privacy in healthcare. The extreme religious views of a minority of people are being used as a weapon toward the resurgence of oppression. Now that this issue is in the hands of state government to regulate, we must have representatives that share the values that protect our right to choose what is best for us and our families.”
