Morgan cosponsored a bill that requires insurers to provide coverage for birth control pills, 12 12-month supply at one time, and not limit it to 30 or 90 days. The insurer must also allow the insured to obtain a prescription for the drugs. It does affect copays- insurers can charge them, and insurers are not required to give a 12-month supply within 30 days of the expiration of the insurance coverage.

Morgan cosponsored a bill that would require the county medical examiner to determine the cause of death if the individual dies by violence, the death is unexpected, or is the result of an abortion unless the attending physician is able to determine the cause of death. It works in tandem with HB 4077.
